dive sites
Diguisit, Baler
Diguisit is a nice place to dive. There is sufficient parking space in the resort (AMCO), and the entrance from the shore is quite easy. There is a 10 meter walk to the entry when walking from the shore. You will walk over rocks to enter the dive site which is around 3 meters deep.
Here are some of the pictures taken by my guest RH Aujero. I took him and his wife down in Diguisit on May 1, 2023. They seem to have enjoyed my service. I hope you can try it and dive with me as well.
The Fishport, Baler
The fishport of baler is a nice place to do training dives, or discover scuba dives here in Baler. It is a very accessible place with good parking. With it's sandy bottom and shallow depth it is easy to practice skills here. There are some coral walls at a shallow depth which contain lots of juvenile fishes,
NIA (National Irrigation Administration) Dam, San Luis
Like the fishport, NIA dam is another good place for training new divers or practicing skills. Unlike the fishport there is minimal current, and the water level does not depend on the tide making it and ideal place to do confined pool sessions. Instead of corals you get dead trees, but there is a lot of life here including different species of fish, freshwater crayfish, and even soft shelled turtles, (unfortunately i was not able to film it.)
There is a hut in the middle of the dam which gives shade to people and fish.
you can see the dead trees that give smaller creatures a place to hide
These temporary caverns are created by the abundance of water lillies in the area
Casapsapan, Casiguran
These are the solo dive videos I shot at the wall of Casapsapan, Casiguran, Aurora. These videos were taken on the second day where I forgot to take in cosideration that both my tanks are lighter and I still dove with 4 lbs weights, thinking that the weight of my sidemount gear would suffice. Sadly it was not and I was slowly drifting to the surface. I cut the dive short and regretted the fact that I did not bring the camera on the first day where I saw much more fish and Gorgonian sea fans growing at the shallow depth of 10 meters. This was taken during slack high tide and the depest part of the dive was 5 meters.
